Meet Your Instructor – Riccardo Battivelli
My greatest pleasure is knowing I’ve inspired a love of kitesurfing in my students.
Hi! I’m Riccardo, a local from Sicily with a lifelong passion for water sports. A few years ago, I spotted colorful kites dancing in the sky—and from my first ride, I was hooked.
I’ve traveled the world chasing wind (Dubai, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Europe), mastered multiple kite disciplines (Big Air, Freestyle, Foil, Wave), and taught riders of all levels—including kids—as a certified IKO instructor and former chief instructor at several international schools.
Now, I’ve brought my experience back home to Sicily to create a school where anyone can learn to fly on the water—just like I did.
